We approached Colin in January 2008 with a view to having a website designed up for our business, Kozie Kennels and Cattery www.koziekennelsandcattery.com.

We had a good idea of what we wanted to achieve with the website but we were keen to hear from Colin to find out what our options where for the style of the website and what we could include in the content.

We are a family run business and pet owners ourselves and so we have great empathy with other pet owners who, like us want to do the best by their animals. We wanted to get across the “Kozie Culture” that exists within our business. We wanted to promote the fact that our customer’s pets will be safe, cared for and looked after just as they are when they’re at home with them, and that we go the extra mile to ensure that their pets have a very happy and relaxing stay with us at Kozie Kennels and Cattery.

Colin helped us communicate this through the design of our website, through showing the business in action with our Kozie Tours of the Kennels and Cattery and also with the use of photos of our family in normal every day settings with Kozie’s customer’s pets.

We are very happy with the website that Colin produced for us, and feel it is a true reflection of our business and feel it shows the caring approach that we adopt in looking after animals that are entrusted into our care.

Within the first 4 months our website had over 100,000 visitors and our customers have given and continue to give us great feedback on the website. In many cases (even if they are new customers and first time visitors) feel they already know us and trust us to care for their pets as they would, as a result of visiting our website before contacting us.

The Kozie Kennels and Cattery website has been an invaluable marketing tool and an effective point of contact with our new and existing customers and continues to be very well received by all who visit it. Our Kozie themed desktops have proven very popular, and we have over 50+ desktops available for download.
